The industrial kitchen consists of a single block with doors – belonging to the D90 concept, with inside handles – in metallic-painted, oxidised grey steel with a “crinkled” effect, and a countertop in Basaltine stone with an integrated sink in the same stone and an induction range.
The doors open to reveal container spaces and appliance components. The countertop has been worked with a battened edge:the front and sides appear 1 centimetre thick but in fact the countertop is 4 centimetres thick to ensure solidity.Completing the main block, an open-work structure in black iron with smoothened weldings and oak shelves with cleft nots containing the exhaust system as well as serving as a pantry space.
The completely open structure emphasises the industrial look overall; the backwall was painted in slate.
The same wood used for the shelves was also used to make the dining table.
